MAF Architects provides high quality architectural design services to commercial and residential clients. Founded by Michael Fromm in 1990, we continue to be the portfolio architects for some of the largest developers and property owners in Fairfield County, Connecticut. Our other clients include homeowners, small businesses, and large corporations. We are proud of the fact that more than 80% of our business comes from repeat customers, a testament to the strong client relationships that are the foundation of our business.
Individually and as a company, we aim to make a positive impact on our community through our work with local foundations and nonprofit organizations. Through volunteering efforts and dollar contributions, we have supported organizations like Boys and Girls Club of Stamford, CT, the Social Enterprise Institute for charter schools, Habitat for Humanity, and many more.

Michael began his architectural career in Houston working for a mid-sized firm specializing in corporate interior, residential, and light retail design. He then spent three years as an in-house consultant to Merrill Lynch & Co., coordinating the reorganization and relocation of nearly two million square feet of office space in Manhattan. In 1990, Michael established MAF Architects with the commitment to provide the highest level of design, project management, and personal service to his clients. As the Principal Architect of the firm for the last 27 years, he has kept that commitment on more than 1,500 projects for a loyal and growing client base.
